Booniverse

So yeah…snow this weekend. I’m not sure why I am surprised by that because it is the middle of November and it has been getting chilly as of late but…snow. I guess I’m just not ready yet for winter. I tell you what though; a little itty bitty (cold) sticky snow is not going to make me go running for my boots. Nosiree Bob. I’m going to tough it out until the first of December rocking my Birks (and fat socks. I will concede to fat socks). So there sticky snow.

The Warcraft Expansion is here and look! I’m riding a dragon. A FREEKIN DRAGON! Well OK, the dragon is really a questy taxi thing but you can indeed ride dragons from one point to another. You can also water walk on your ponies from one point to another if you have a shammy. And if you have a pally you can go fast while waterwalking on your ponies. So this we did, all around the entire new continent. May I present to you a WoW (the game) “Leyden and Adoree’s Excellent (and stupid) adventure” Picto-blog.

This past Sunday was TheMan’s and my 5th anniversary which we celebrated pretty low key. We thought about going here or there and doing this or that but in the end, we decided that a quiet candle lit night with some wine and cheese was just what we wanted. So this we did (plus a little Warcraft but that’s not what this post is about).

These are a delicious chocolate cookie bar thing that my mom has in a book somewhere. I want to say it’s a Betty Crocker cookie book but when I do my magic Google Fu this is the only thing that comes up. It’s the same recipe though (except doubled) so maybe my mom has the Mountain Breeze cookie book. In any case, these are best at room temperature although if you want to conduct your own experiments and eat one still warm, one at room temp and one chilled don’t let me harsh your scientific bug.
