Now that I have established the record for world’s longest practicing Rokokyu, I was feeling that it might be time to move on to greener pastures. So to speak. I am talking about actually absorbing my Rokokyu material, practicing my Rokokyu material and possibly learning the last 1.5 things I need to know to have all my Rokokyu material and then going on to Gokyu. There has got to be a long standing green belt record I can surpass, after all I am an old hat at this lingering business. I figure I might even work my way to brown belt…by the time I’m 60.

Were walking down the street. Cap fell down and went home…wait, that’s not how it goes.
There is no Friday Five today, which makes me a bit disgruntled and a bit happy at the same time. As usual, in the boocentricity that I live in, it annoys me that someone can’t keep up a simple list of questions once a week (some which are sent in by other people) with some sort of regularity. Once a week…contributions by other people…slap it up and go…it’s not rocket science. Unfortunately, today (again) there is no Five and come to think on it, the Five has been really flaky this year with its on again off again regularity. I was looking forward to some Fiving action too. It makes me cranky, damnit! On the other hand, I actually have things to write about today and I really didn’t want to do a double entry so I am saved. Or something.
I am terribly unmotivated today, more so than usual. I know, I know, that is a very frightening thought because it puts me somewhere very much below apathetic but just slightly above dead. Oi! I tell you, I am just waiting for the day to end, which it will, and then there will be another day, and that too will end and another and…
We haven’t moved the truck since late November when we were called upon to help with transporting a Jacuzzi. It’s rounding out the end of March now and the truck is still in the same spot as it was back then except now it’s got a bit of a jaunty angle to it.
Recapping the weekend, in no particular order I’ll just say Sunday was a bad (but good) food and bad (but bad) booze day. Hmmm! Looks like this just may fall under SAST! Lucky you!
One of my popular (or repetitive if you aren’t a fan of boo-isims) things to say when I run across something that just doesn’t jive with me is “When I take over [said type of thing] I’ll fix it in this better way.” Sometimes I just go with a blanket “When I take over The World” because once you take over the world you can pretty much correct any minor annoyance. Other times I just don’t feel like being Supreme Ruler so I settle for taking over the continent, town or just plain business. Today’s Friday Five caters a wee bit to the tiny dictator in me.
Hee! Sometimes a Doodle comes out that you just have to share. Go take a peek, I linked the pic! Look at my l337 5Ki11z! (which had a bit of help from TheMan. Thanks babe!)
On this day of wearing green, drinking beer and eating corned beef hash, let’s take a moment and remember the less looked upon saint who is also celebrated around this same time: Saint Urho. I’m wearing purple undies, how are you celebrating?
Tuesday at my job
draining all my will to live.
Must do check lists now
Impromptu Haiku for you today. It’s not Issa but it will have to do. Hey, it beats the impromptu driving tunes of this morning which included, but were not limited to, “Ass-hat, he’s there, one day, driving, like he has a death wish.” and “This light’s a red light, that light is red too, and that one’s turning before I can go through. It doesn’t matter how slow or fast I go. All lights are red for me and you!”.
Give it up fro a weekend recap! Whooo! BTW, this is my 360th entry. Go me!
