Hey! It’s that time of year again. I’m another day older but not so much the deeper in debt. This is a good thing.
I write the strangest most incomplete notes to myself that make sense for about five minutes after I’ve written them down but after a day or two they could be anything. Cake recipes? Sure! Alien invasion plans? Sure! The directions I need on how to do new task X? Sure! All are equally valid because I don’t have a good system of “jot down” yet.
I am having the BEST day today. Ever. Or at least the best day ever that I can remember in a while and I think that’s because TheMan and I got all our relaxin in last night and it felt good!
Still cold, got a cold, still at my Mumses, the puppy ate a plant and then took a nap on the table. How are you?
I don’t feel like making one of those cohesive chatty blog entries so instead (or as usual, depending on your point of view) I’m just going to pick a couple things of interest or amusement and blurbit all short like about them.
After much deliberation we packed it in, pulled up roots and are staying at my mumses house for the remainder of Puppy Watch ’05. On one hand it feels like we failed the parent test, on the other hand babies usually don’t eat their beds when you leave them alone for a couple of hours.
I don’t wanna talk about Dogsitting Day whatever the hell day it is. I will say that I luuuuurve the Charlie dog. I luuuuurve the Lucy dog when she isn’t peeing inside, pooing inside, chewing, barking, running around like a crazed thing, yodeling…although the yodeling is sort of cute for the first 15 minutes. I, however, already own a Siamese cat so I get all the cute noises one can handle in a day when I get up in the morning. I will say I am eternally amused by Lucy’s flop of head hair. When she gets all Fierce Dog she wrinkles her head up and bouffants herself. Heh.
Words spoken about a bazillion times to the cockers as we walked them around the block. Do they just want to quit the walk or are there that many white houses in our particular style in the neighborhood?
How much soup can you make from a six month old cocker spaniel puppy? Is it better to just stir fry ‘em ‘cuz this getting up at 4:44am to a pup who has already wet her cage is getting old fast and it’s only happened once.
I spent the day at home today because I was just not feeling right. I didn’t get to sleep until late but I probably could have gone into work. Meh. So I chose to call in. And then? I went off on a nut and cleaned three quarters of the house. What’s up with that?
