The Norberts are done HUZZAH! And they officially have Teh Cute.

Happy Wednesday! I’d tell you all about the awesomz puter shtoffs but I haven’t yet gotten a chance to try it out. WAH! I’m going through Warcraft withdraw here. Tonight, being a Wednesday, was game night over at Badmovie and LunarGeography’s place so that’s what up with the untouched shiny! new puter things. They look good though!

LG and I managed to complete the last two Norberts needed for the A2 show though. Huzzah puppet prep is done! Now all I have to do is create an e-mail sign up sheet, press some A2 give-away buttons and make the GORP and I think I’m set. Of course there will probably be something else that comes up.

Oh wait. AV cart (or cart like entity) for the projector. Hmmmm.

TheMan and I took a morning time walk over to the MLB to check out the facilities. There is a worrying lack of table space (re: none indigenous to the auditorium) and the stage is only raised about a foot off the ground. Not so good for things which may get messy when dropped, which would be pretty much just about everything. We spotted two long brown tables lurking off to the side and hopefully we can ninja a table or two from one of the other auditoriums. If not, food may be a tad crowded this year.

I’m missing the Chem building already.

In non-Smithee news (of which there is some…surprisingly) we had a “You students is awesomz” parTAY today in my loner department. There was a ton of stuff including more pizza than you can shake a stick at. Apparently, 15 pizzas were a tad too much as we wound up with 5 untouched leftovers (dinner!). I spent my party help time doing clean-up and primarily wrapping up pizza slices in twos and threes to be jammed in the fridge for later consumption. Five whole large pizzas fill up a half fridge pretty fast.

Friday is my department’s YAY STUDENTS party and the Saturday is the glut of Smitheeness. I’m going to have to run a marathon or something to counteract all this deliciousness that’s going on.

2007: Which I did, only to see a big old fat earthworm fling himself from the pot and make a bid for freedom. FazzzzING – scootcha-scootcha-scootcha.

2006: SmitheeSmitheeSMITHEE!

2005: Ahhhhh, boxes. Finally out of my living room! Hmmm, come to think on it, I guess since I still own the condo they are actually in my living room again.

2004: So I decided to fill today’s space up with my own brand of boo madness called SHORT ATTENTION SPAN THEATER.

2003: He’s a good person and I love him even when he is being a butt. Besides, I have a kick ass BoxJam T now.

I love those eyeballs! I want to learn to make one because I just think it’d be funny for a teacher of the blind to have a big eyeball in my class 🙂
One of my students cleaned by blackboard without my asking, so I rewarded him with a giant Pixie Stick. He was delighted, beyond words.
PS: I tried to get to this site from school, but apparently DPS blocks to Boo 🙁

Of course, part of me looks at the puppets and thinks they ought to be wearing top hats. 😉

Sean – I’m totally with you on the top hat! I’d make a top hat if I were even remotely skilled but as is, I’m happy they turned out at least somewhat close to my vision. I dream better than I do, apparently.

So you took some of the giant pixie stix, StalkerPatti! We were wondering where all they had gotten off to (I think there was a full box left). The eyeballs are really cat toy patterns I found on teh nets and blown up eyeball sized. Plus a sock and some tentacles but mostly you can thank teh internets for the ball part of the eyeball pattern.
