I Think I Might Be Sinking

Friday, September 30th, 2005

Argh! I have had that damn line from that damned Led Zeppelin tune stuck in my head for DAYS! I’m hoping that by posting bits of the song I can Ringu it onward so that it pesters someone else. Sometimes I love you booniverse readers, sometimes I hex you with Fragmental Zeppelin Tunes.

I Think I Might Be Rambling

Wednesday, September 28th, 2005

Alllllrighty then! Public blog apologies to TheMan who is a very shy guy indeed and would rather I never mention “monkey” and “sex” in the same blog entry ever again. Oh…oops. Sorry. I’m probably also not supposed to mention that even though he is a very shy guy, he does posses one very cute butt.

Late Weekend Review

Monday, September 26th, 2005

What did we do Friday? I know we didn’t watch the line up because it’s on tape and we still haven’t seen Battlestar but what did we do in lieu of TV? Surprisingly it wasn’t Warcraft (bet y’all are pretty shocked by that news. I’ll wait a bit while your head clears and your breathing slows. Need a blanket? No? OK, let’s move (very slow like) onward, shall we?). Eh, whatever it was it either didn’t matter, mattered so much I immediately put it out of my mind or the Aliens stole the memory.

I Know What You Did Last Sunday

Sunday, September 25th, 2005

Auspicious start for the weekend with the rain and the glum but it’s cider mill day and the hey! Could that be a reflection of the truck? And the cameraboo? There IS no cure for my goofiness.

Who Has Dreams about Itty Bitty Talking Messenger Owls Named Pinkerton?

Thursday, September 22nd, 2005

Apparently I do.

30 or Bust!

Tuesday, September 20th, 2005

Hey! A Tuesday post! Look at that. Sadly, nothing really significant has happened in the booniverse in the last 24 hours so I’m going to blather about my World of Warcraft adventures. Y’all who find this boring might just want to peek in tomorrow and see if there’s something more to your fancy. Oh, and maybe look for a picto-blog from this past weekend. I’m not sayin’ it’s going to happen but it just might. At least the camera made it downstairs next to my computer yesterday. That’s a start.

Groundhog’s Night

Monday, September 19th, 2005

Man! I spent last night sleeping in one to two hour increments having two types of dreams. The first were a series of those incredibly ordinary dreams about incredibly ordinary things that people do every single day. What’s the point in even dropping into REM sleep if that’s the result? Dude, I get mad at the student peds All. The. Damn. Time. when they cross willy nilly in front of my car, why do I have to be dreaming it? And I can not count the number of times I’ve been shopping and had to back track to pick up an item from an already visited aisle, I don’t need to be dream trucking it from the veggies to the bakery and back.

The Pre Weekend Ramble

Friday, September 16th, 2005

Yup, looks like another SAST in the works. Enjoi.

Big. Ball. of HATE!

Wednesday, September 14th, 2005

I was in a mood yesterday. Copy bastards? Pissed me right the hell off. Over redundant work procedures? Pissed me right the hell off. University traffic? Pissed me right the hell off. The color blue? Ohhhhh man. The color blue was the worst offender. So yeah, some things made sense (and all you people who have to drive during a class change know ex-ACTLY what I’m talking about) while others didn’t and there was really no rhyme or reason as to what exactly was tripping my switches save to say things just were.

Last of Three

Monday, September 12th, 2005

Le sigh. My 3x3x3 is over and now I have to work a full 5 days. The horror! Fortunately, we had a really decent weekend, despite not getting everything done that we wanted to.

The Krank

Wednesday, September 7th, 2005

I think I’m coming down with an illin and both cats have been sneezing their fool heads off. I do believe the cold season is getting an early start on things here at the Q house and I can’t help but notice the coincidence: Students back in town/ developing cold. That doesn’t explain the cats exactly but: Students back in town / sneezy goopy cats. The facts don’t lie.

First of Three

Tuesday, September 6th, 2005

I’m talkin’ about the 3 weekend, 3 work week, 3 weekend thing I planned and sadly, I’m now on the next of three which are all work. On the plus side, it’s me and one other coworker in the department flying solo. We are both really solo because she’s a Librarian so she is doing important Librarian stuff and being that she is the only librarian here in the department, she is doing ALL the librarian stuff. Me? I’m just doing my thang. I’ll tell you about it tomorrow because this space is for: [cue reverb]
