Hey guess what? I finally have some visible progress for having worked out every day for 1.8 months! Unfortunately it’s not in the pantsular region (*sadface*) since my pants aren’t immediately falling to the floor when I put them on. What’s that about? I mean…1.8 months! You would think that maybe I’d have lost some butt or belly or something just to keep the interest but no. Stupid fat.

Mmmm….Tasty Green Tea Mochi. Krazy!
A new kind of mochi over at the JSFR.
I thought it was about time for another Hard Cheeses of Old England post so when we went to pick up some salmon for grilling, I sent TheMan off with the previous list of Hard Cheeses to find some interesting new ones (and maybe an oldie but goodie of yore). He wandered back with 4 cheeses: 3 new, 1 repeat; 3 with inclusions, 1 without; 3 cow, 1 goat; 3 pasteurized milk, 1 raw; 3 squishy, 1 hard. Heh, OK maybe I’m exaggerating a little on the last but we sure could play “One of these things does not belong” with many different iterations.

The idea originally came from Andy Ihnatko’s Celestial Waste of Bandwidth which TheMan regularly peruses (actual egg post here). We did some pokery and found all sorts of recipes for tea eggs and eventually we fired up some pots and cooked us some eggs.

Hello Monday, sorry about kicking August in the nads and making it go all medieval on us there Sunday. It all started Friday…well actually it all started Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday when I didn’t water my garden but Friday I had Garden Grower’s Guilt and was out watering my plot of land for three hours or so. Perhaps I exaggerate but not by much, the ground was bone dry and that’s a lot of watering to saturate something akin to Death Valley but not as hot. Crimony!
