There’s always room for Pocky.
We found this magazine at the doctor’s office and asked if they might be willing to copy the recipe for cast iron pan cinnamon rolls. They took a look at their stash o’ zines and said that we could just have this one. It’d make their magazine organizing easier by one issue. We did not press our luck because CAST IRON CINNAMON ROLLS!!!

Some prepwork was done for the show, because we’re off to ConBust at the end of the week but not so much prepwork was done that I can be lazy.

Last year, as we drove by the Brew Pub, we noticed that they had a St. Patty’s Day breakfast buffet and we said to ourselves, “Selves, we need to remember this for next year!” And so we did.

Because we did not have any pies. We did have some namby pamby pies to round out “Six More Weeks of Pie” last Friday but no pie today (actually they were pretty good pies; lemon and apple from The Chick Inn. Always wanted to try their pies since they have a PIE neon in the window so we used SMWoP as an excuse. Apple is pretty darned good). We fail at pie when it counts but we succeeded at pie for when it counts differently. I think maybe we had too much pie.

Fun little brownie bite like things at the review today.
I even cut out little piggies for the pie…which were almost stegosauruses because I wasn’t about to go fishing through 40 jumbled up cookie cutters and steggie was on top. Fortunately piggy wasn’t much further down so the proper animal was cookie cuttered. Not to say that dinosaurs aren’t also proper on a pie, it’s just that pigs seemed more appropriate at this time.

More Pucca over at the review.
Well, at least I am on track for March’s Month of House Project Madness because LunarGeography and I got out the garden porn magazines and planned our 2011 gardens while the boys argued Smithee clips. By the end of the night we had a show but I’m not sure LG and I quite cemented on what we were going to buy.

As I was going to St. Ives, I met a man with seven wives. They were kinda greasy.
