June is Blog-stating Out all Over

It’s cold and wet and nasty outside like a typical November morning might be except it’s currently October. Tuesday it was in the high 90s like your typical late June day might be except again, it’s October. I wouldn’t mind so much if it were a late warm fall or an early cold fall but I really wish the weather would make up its mind. I’m not so keen on having both within a 48 hour time span.

So! To think back on nicer days, I’ve decided to dink around with the June blog stats. Well, not really but it seemed like a good segue and I thought maybe the weather might be intrigued by the thought of June blog stats and settle down one way or the other. I’m hoping for more June-ish then November-ish but if my June stats make the weather feel all emo and it decides to stay Novemberish, well then at least we’ll have consistency. Dreary, cold, depressing, consistency but consistency none the less. Basically, I’m really not fond of this extreme temperature yo-yoing so let’s think of something else…like blog stats!

  • There are no days in June where I decided to do something, anything else but update. Whooo!
  • There was also no days in all of June in which I blogged only one day for the entire five year run. Cooool.
  • The number of June days that have 2 posts is 6
  • The number of June days that have 3 posts is 14
  • The number of June days that have 4 posts is 6
  • There were four dates in June in which I managed to blog every time they rolled around: 13th, 22nd, 27th, and 30th.
  • There are 98 posts in five year’s worth of June which comes out to be, hopefully, a 65% posting rate. That works out to an average of 4.6 posts per week.
  • A couple of June factoids: June and March are the only two months in which there were no days of not posting and also no days of only posing once. In fact, the numbers look remarkably similar as far as breakdown:
  • Blank Space March June
    Five Posts 4 4
    Four Posts 10 6
    Three Posts 14 14
    Two Posts 3 6
    One Post 0 0
    No Posts 0 0
    Total Posts 108 98
    Posts/Week 4.9 4.6
    % Posting 70 65
  • Until you get to the jibber jabber last three row stats, they could almost be the same month…except for March’s four day posting being 10 while June’s is 6. I guess all those extra four posting days do make quite a bit of difference, which you can see in the jibber jabber stats (total, posts/week, % posting). Incidentally, June is also tied with March for highest three day posting number.
  • I started out in 2007 logging the updated days of June and then worked backwards from there. 2007 and 2006 were really working at odds with each other because in 21 of the 30 days of June, one year would update while the other one didn’t. Oddly, there were no days in which 2006 and 2007 both didn’t have updates and 9 days when they both updated.

Halfway through the year folks! Whoooo!!!

Last year at the booniverse: Hey, do you know what totally makes a schwarma sammich? The pickle. Mmmm.

Last last year at the booniverse: I need a turkey baster and an ice pick. So! Much! Sinus! Pressure!

The year before at the booniverse: I thought I might go rummaging through Joy to see if it might have a section on How To Drive A Zester. Joy is the BOMB for that sort of stuff.

The year before that at the booniverse: JSFR: Jelly Cake (brown)
