Six Years of February

Five days. Just five days in February to remember but apparently my poor plork is too old for even that simple task because on the 12th I blew off my blog. This means that I also blew off one of the days in which I managed to blog every single day of the booniverse which kinda ticks me off. I had it in my head that I needed to remember the 13th, 14th and 15th but when I took a look-see long about the 20th I discovered that I was wrong. I needed to have blogged the 12th, 13th and 14th. Grrrr. At least today is the last of those six year days so I don’t have to get all anxious for the rest of February. Which is a whole day longer this year giving me two days to blow off…huzzah?

Ah well. I’ll just have to keep in mind that I need to watch for the 5th, 13th, 14th and 17th of March. 17th…maybe the Zombies should go out and have some St. Patty’s day fun. We haven’t heard from the zombies in a long time and I haven’t posted a picto-blog in a long time either. Coincidental synergy! I’m a-feeling it here…St. Patrick’s picto-zombie blog!

Speaking of special things, I’m considering doing up a leap year day JSFR to celebrate the specialness of the day. I still have a bazillion things to review and it makes me nervous that they are sitting there looking at me all dejected and untried.

I’m still working on fixing the archives more or less (less than more actually, I have a lot of things on my plate at the moment and all of them are taking more time than I think they should. What’s that about?) but I’m not entirely sure I’m going to be able to slog through the whole booniverse in two days. Thus, I’m pushing the archive timetable back as well. One year I’ll be so far behind I’ll think I’m first!

On the plus side, I’ve written the Smithee XVII promotional blurbit, designed the SLM button monster, picked the button quote and gotten the A2 room all set (with the amazing help of Señor Lilly who will be getting him some Smithee buttons for his mighty heroic room reserving 5ki11z). I guess something is at least on schedule. Yay?

2007: Our options were to level up, which involves actual thinking and doing on our part, or screw around, which we are (quite frankly) much better at.

2006: La-la-la! I can’t hear you junk food intolerance!!!

2005: JSFR: Hello Panda (vanilla)

2004: I guess I have no soul or something because to me it looked like a great big hole in the ground with a river at the way way bottom..

2003: I came back as a bag of groceries accidentally taken off the shelf before the date stamped on my sack
