This One’s All About the Mumses

It’s her birthday you know.

Zukey Lake marina and all the boats that aren’t in the water. It’s been really nice lately so I was a little surprised to see about 50 enblued boats hanging around. Why is no one on the lake?

We arrive.

What time is it Mr. Pod?

Will you still need her? Will you still feed her?

Do Peeps count as food? Then our answer is yes.

Lucy says hello while gettin scritchies.

We start off the birthday evening with tuuuuuna. Mmmm nom nom nom.

Mr. Paul makes shrimps. It’s Mumses’s favorite dinner.

Shrimps! It was delish, and fortunately Mr. Paul made a bazillionty shrimp so we only had to fight off Mumses a little bit there at the end. She loves her some shrimp!

Goofing around before dessert. Mr. Paul is one of those “Let’s digest dinner before doing dessert” sort of people so we sat around shootin the breeze while our food peculated. Some of us played with the camera too, but then it was time for MUGCAKE!

It’s a fun little recipe that you make…in a mug!

…and it grows a bit while it’s cooking…

…and a little more…

Will it fall over? Yiiiiikes! The answer was no for 4 samples of mug cake but we were kept on edge for most of them.

Mug cake is also really rich. Uuuuurp!

Happy 64 mumses!

2008: “Voldemort’s Nipple! I forgot to feed the cat before we left!”

2007: “If I knew you were going to take full picture of us I would have quit chewing!”

2006: You know when you see a really cool food thing on TV and you want to try it out at home? Sometimes it takes a while to get it right.

2005: I mean, take the following sentences: “God smote me for singing the lamby joe song” versus “I was smitten by God for singing the lamby joe song”. The first one sounds much more serious and old testament. I can see God frowning his cranky God frown and saying, “OK, I’ve heard about enough of that lamby joe song from boo. One lightning bolt, coming up!” while the other one sounds more like I’m singing an ode of devotion and lamby joe goodness to the almighty.

2004: All this is leading to the astonishing fact that I, Rokokyu for going on two some years now, actually went to class last night.

2003: A moment of bloggy silence for my mumses.
