Proctor Picto Post 2

2009: Hard to believe I went out and spent 3 hours dewinterizing my gardens on my second day off, especially since I also spent a goodly amount of the day online updating.

2008: I sat down and wrote up two snack food reviews. I am perpetually so far behind on them it’s no longer funny.

2007: JSFR: Meltyblend (milk)

2006: As always, bananas are exempt. Why? No idea. Lucky I guess.

2005: Is it the weekend? Then I’m not updating.

2004: I check on them every so often and every so often there is absolutely no change.

2003: Man, cold ASS coffee is the hardest thing to slug down and the only reason I’m drinking it at all is because I’m thirsty and too lazy to get up and get me some hot water for tea.

Getting another kitty seems like a good idea, as single cats can get pretty lonely, in my experience.

At this point you may have already taken action with the breeder, but if it’s not too late, I’d like to put in a plug for adopting a cat from a shelter (or perhaps from a home where someone has to get rid of their cat). There are hundreds of cats without homes who could really use your help!! 🙂 (okay end of guilt trip now)

TheMan wants a Rex and we know the lady who raises the Abbys. Adopting from a shelter is awesome except cats are…hit or miss and I like to know the parent cats/people they live with/where and how they live first before buying one. Oddly, I’m much more comfortable getting a shelter or rescue dog than I am a cat (I have the kind of luck where if a cat’s gonna have issues it’ll be the one I pick and I don’t want to up the odds with a shelter cat. Dogs are easier to break of bad habits than cats). I think it’s the nature of the beast (HA!) but I don’t trust that I won’t get the Michael Meyers of cats from a shelter.
