Hellooooo kittens!

The Qs have been visiting the “grandcats” (their term) and taking pictures so I thought I’d share. Here they are about two weeks old being a big ol’ confused pile o’ kittens. The one ruddy one is most likely spoken for, he’s going to Mexico if he’s breeding quality. The rest are a greyish and they are all boys.

Kittehs asplorin!

Here’s 4 weeks old and asploring out of the cage. The ruddy one is the ringleader and is usually out and around first. MomQ said he was the first born. She also said that the last born kitten is…speshul. He’s a sweet boy but not the sharpest crayon.

I think short bus kitten is the one with the “Whut?” expression here. Either that or “Hey guys…are you sure this is a good idea?”

We’re going up on Labor Day weekend to visit them and see which one is the most awesome Q inclined kitty. I’m hoping that the ruddy one is not quite up to standards because he’s just adorable. On the other hand, maybe the dumb happy one will be just the cat. I don’t suppose we could continue with our thought of naming the kitten after a scientist though…unless it’s for irony sake. Albert has a nice cat ring to it.

2009: I think I said a while back that I was going to try and exercise every day in July and you know what? I have!

2008: It’s rarely that we get cat on the stove or in the fridge.

2007: JSFR: Nude Pepero

2006: It was about 4 million percent humidity outside and at least 200 degrees (Oooo! I could have made steamed dumplings!).

2005: We managed to miss it by my sheer reflex driving and I have one question about that whole incident: Who plops a traffic island in the middle of an intersection without any warning?

2004: Oh, and everything hurt yesterday. Even my fat. How can fat hurt? That’s just not right.

2003: Unfortunately I missed the transition so I was still on ‘OK, he’s all appreciative to be here etc.’ mode when the bodies, mass grave and starving five year old came zinging out of no where.

It is completely and utterly unfair to post pictures of adorable kittens on your blog.
Unless, of course, I get to come over and play with the Q kitten when you bring him home.

That can easily be arranged 🙂
