April Fooling Ought Eleven

“I would never lie. I willfully participate in a campaign of misinformation.”
-Fox Mulder: X Files

Once again it’s time for the Boo truth or not truth. This year I am covering books and bookish things so your 10 True or False questions will be of that nature. I also randomized the questions by randomly flipping a coin and using the standard “heads = yes” (or true) and “tails = no” (or false). Take a bit of time to wander over to random dot org because they have just about every fun permutation of randomizing one (or me) could think of. They even have different coins you can flip. I chose New Jersey because they didn’t have a Michigan so if you aren’t happy with the randomizing, blame Hakensack.

I will post the truths on April 15 because Tax day sort of amuses me for a reveal post.

1. At the writing of this post, I am half way through reading the Hugo winners.

2. TheMan and I own 5 dictionaries.

3. The oldest book we own is my Grandma’s pre WWII cookbook.

4. I won an ARC copy of John Scalzi’s Fuzzy Nation by submitting my mother’s age as my random number guess.

5. If you asked me what my all time favorite book is, I would tell you David Brin’s Startide Rising

6. My Favorite cookbook is the Joy of Cooking.

7. We own all the Terry Prachett books in hard cover.

8. We weren’t in the States when Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince was released but we bought it anyway and now have a European sized hardcover copy.

9. We have a signed copy of I Have No Mouth and I must Scream.

10. All our books are shelved neatly where they are supposed to go.

2010: Isaak is named after Sir Isaak Newton

2009: This year I ran out of neat themes so the best I could come up with was either plants or food.

2008: This year’s rendition consists of 10 objects and your mission, should you choose to accept it, it to decide which of these items belongs to me and which do not.

2007: Here are this year’s ten questions. As usual, some of them are true, some of them are false, some of them are tricksy and all of them will be answered later on in the week. Ish.

2006: For the third year running I present to you a list of ten things that may or may not be true.

2005: And now, this year’s April Fools Ten Questions of boo (that may or may not be true). Plus, I have a theme, take a look.

2004: Also in line with April Foolishness, I present you with a list of 10 things that may or may not be true about your friendly neighborhood boo.

2003: …and today I’m Eowyn but yesterday I was Arwen. Fickle aint I?
