In this case, it was Chinese food.  A huge sterno-heated tray of sweet and sour chicken to be precice.<br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\nAnd now I&#8217;ve got a dilemma.  I&#8217;m just not that fond of sweet and sour chicken&#8230;  I mean, free food is free food and I shouldn&#8217;t complain, but I prefer my pineapple raw.<\/p>\n<p>At least it&#8217;s not on a pizza.  That&#8217;s just too odd.  Pineapple is a Pacific fruit, if I recall correctly&#8230;  It&#8217;s within the realm of chance that trade between the islands and the mainland somehow introduced it into Chinese cuisine, but there&#8217;s no excuse for putting in on an Italian dish.<\/p>\n<p>Except for Marco Polo I guess.
