I was heading down some stairs in a parking ramp and slid the last four or five steps on my butt.  I was worried that I&#8217;d broken the laptop by smacking it into something, but if I did hit anything the only ill effect was to jostle the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.inktank.com\/AT\/index.cfm?toon=04-04-01\">board chow<\/a> out from between the keys and sprinkle it on the screen.<br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\nI remember deliberately bouncing down stairs on my backside when I was a kid.  It didn&#8217;t used to hurt this much afterwards.  I&#8217;m sure it&#8217;s a matter of scale, but that&#8217;s not much comfort.<\/p>\n<p>Walking in the rest of the way to work kept me from stiffening up too much early on, but now I&#8217;m pretty sore.  If I don&#8217;t have a bruise yet, I should have one in a day or so.<\/p>\n<p>So not much to write today.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Had a fun scare this morning.
