Just some behind-the-scenes stuff. For one thing, I upgraded the version of Movable Type to 2.62. It adds some features I might play with later. Another change that you all should never see is the update of the web-log stats software to version 5.4 from 5.3.<\/p>\n
And finally this… I’m taking a test-drive of the full version of the RSS browsing software that I’ve used a couple of times. So far, I like the interface, but I’m not that fond of the actual editing. It improves text styling for the entry, but removes some of the finer control you get from Movable Type’s web interface. I’d like to be able to have more control of what shows up as the main body, where the extended entry begins, and what goes into the subheading ‘blurb.’<\/p>\n
Anyway, those are my problems… So far, the full version is nice but I’m not likely to pay the $30 registration fee for ‘nice.’<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
