Candy! What kind of Candy? Pastel Candy!

Pastel candy number one: The jellybean! These are the easiest ones to identify, since they’re the smallest. They’re also the most diversely flavored. Pastel orange tastes like mango; pastel pinkish could be strawberry, cotton candy or red raspberry depending on precisely what shade of pink; pastel green is watermelon; yellow is banana; blue is blueberry and white is pi?a colada. Generally, they taste ok. I’m not a coconut fan so I’ve avoided the colada-bean.

Numbers Two and Three are the chocolate eggs. We’ve got two varieties, Hersheys and Cadbury. The Cadbury has better chocolate, but I prefer the Hershey candy shell… After you’ve had a couple of the Cadbury eggs, you start to notice a kind of chalky taste from the shell. You can tell them apart visually by their texture. The Cadbury ones have a matte finish while the Hersheys are semi-glossy.

The Fourth and final ingredient are the pastel Reeses Peanut Butter eggs. They have the same glossy finish as the Hershey eggs, but they’re irregularly shaped. As for flavor, they’re pretty much the same as Reeses Pieces, just on a grand scale.

Ok, so what’s in the basket we’re sending off?
