Bumping all the video options down to the minimum lets it go at a playable frame rate, but it’s not terribly pretty.

On the big tower Mac, it’s gorgeous. It’s decked out with a 64MB GeForce 3 card and the 21″ cinema display. I put it into full screen mode and it runs like a dream, even with all of the textures and graphics options cranked up to 11.

As far as the plot and playability of the game itself goes, it seems to be a faithful copy of the PC edition, so if you like that, you’ll like this. I’m a bit bummed that the Mac edition doesn’t include the module building toolset, but if I really get the itch to develop something along those lines I should be able to do so with my Fiancee’s old PC.

That’s Neverwinter Nights for the acronym impared.
