Ok, yes, there’s more than one, but this one in particular is bad.<\/p>\n
I tend to have repeating lame jokes. I’ll find something funny once and people near me will hear it over and over again.<\/p>\n
Like if there’s a police car pulled over to the side of the road with a radar gun, I’ll probably say, “I wonder what they’re going to do with all that speed once they’ve trapped it?”<\/p>\n
Even if I know<\/b> that the person I’m with has already heard that lame-assed joke, I’ll say it anyway. I can’t help it. I had a kind of double-whammy of lameness yesterday. In the morning there was a cop car trapping speed and in the evening we went shopping at the People’s Food Co-op<\/a>.<\/p>\n Actually ,the Food Co-op is partially to blame. It used to be next door to an old coin-operated laundromat on Packard. I have no idea if the laundromat is still there, but I know that the other half of the building is now a hardware store. Anyway, I used to wash my clothes there when I lived in the area, and if I forgot to bring a book I’d wind up reading anything that happened to be lying around while my clothes did the big spin. At the time, the reading material included copies of MIM Notes<\/a>, the newsletter for the Maoist International Movement. \nOne of my other lame jokes is to slap “Glorious Revolutionary” as an interfix into any phrase or name incorporating the word “People’s.” So “People’s Bank<\/a>” becomes the “People’s Glorious Revolutionary Bank,” the “People’s Choice Awards<\/a>” becomes the “People’s Glorious Revolutionary Choice Awards” and so on.<\/p>\n
