Seriously, I could walk through the house safely without turning on a single light.  I could see my way just with the strobe-like illumination from the lightning storm outside.  I didn&#8217;t think to try to record it until it was dying down, but if you&#8217;d like a little taste of last night&#8217;s storm there&#8217;s a kinda grainy Quicktime movie linked to the cloud photo.<br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"StormStreet.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/www.quirkspace.com\/archives\/images\/StormStreet.jpg\" width=\"400\" height=\"300\" border=\"0\" \/><br \/>\nI also tried a little bit of long-duration photography with the passing cars.  I didn&#8217;t manage to get a good shot of any lightning in the sky though.  It&#8217;s a pity&#8230;  On the drive home there was some truly spectacular bolts of lightning.
