Both grapes and witches get pressed, for example.  And in some unsanitary dual-purpose world, I&#8217;m sure that racking wine means something other than using a siphon to move it from one carboy to another.<br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\nThe plan for this evening is to do a bit of wine torturing, racking the blueberry, last year&#8217;s pumpkin, and the cranberry into fresh new carboys.  We&#8217;ve got two unoccupied ones now, one on loan from my friend Rob and one that we bought from the good folks at the <a href=\"http:\/\/ypsilantibrewing.com\/\">Ypsilanti Brewing<\/a> company.<\/p>\n<p>I found out about the Ypsi brew co. from a &#8216;blog called &#8220;seat of the revolution.&#8221;  I&#8217;d done a quick search to try to figure out what was going on with the grain silos that I drive past on the way in to work&#8230;  A couple months ago, the rumor was that they were being rebuilt into a brewpub.  There was some construction going on for a while, but nothing terribly visible recently.  Turns out they&#8217;re <a href=\"http:\/\/seat.defcode.com\/index.php?p=100&amp;c=1\">having some problems<\/a> getting approval from the city to complete the conversion.  In the meantime tho, they&#8217;re selling brewing supplies at the Ypsilanti Farmer&#8217;s Market on Saturdays.
