I got the blueberry and cranberry wine racked into new carboys and added finings to the blueberry.  The blueberry will be ready for bottling in two weeks or so.  I had a little taste of each of them as I was doing the siphon, and they&#8217;re both really tasty.  I also ordered some supplies, like a bottle tree and a couple more sets of two-part finings.  I checked on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.eckraus.com\">E. C. Kraus<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.homebrewheaven.com\">Homebrew Heaven<\/a> for what I was after and found that despite their lousy website design, Homebrew Heaven had better prices and more selection, including the really handy <a href=\"https:\/\/secure7.nexternal.com\/shared\/StoreFront\/product_detail.asp?CS=hombre&amp;RowID=222&amp;All=\">auto-shutoff bottle filler<\/a>.<br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\nI also got the broken glass up off the floor of the wine cellar&#8230; I&#8217;m still not sure what triggered it, but two green glass reisling bottles decided to take a jump from the top shelf of the wire bottle rack and didn&#8217;t survive contact with the cement floor.  The fallout from the decelleration trauma was in all sorts of surprising areas, and I&#8217;m sure I&#8217;m going to be finding overlooked bits of glass for quite some time.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Monday turned into a wine work day.
