Other times, you stumble on cool photo opportunities like this one.  I call it &#8220;Reason #572 that I&#8217;d make a lousy soldier.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>If I was the guy on the rope, I&#8217;d be frozen just about there, trying to decide if it was a better idea to claw and scrabble my way back up the wall or if I should spend the next several weeks continuing to inch my way down.<\/p>\n<p>If I was the guy on the roof, I&#8217;d be throwing up all over the guy on the rope.<br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\nI&#8217;m not fond of heights.  I&#8217;ve got no problem with tall buildings or planes or anything that&#8217;s nicely enclosed, like a cable car or a scenic overlook on a mountainside.  But, just as an example, if I stand on a chair and look up at the ceiling, I get this disturbing sense of vertigo.  Ditto for lying on my stomach on a rooftop with my head and shoulders sticking over the precipitous drop.  Situations like that, I feel like wherever my head is pointed, my body is going to follow.<\/p>\n<p>I suppose it&#8217;s something I&#8217;d get accustomed to with exposure, but I&#8217;ve really got no great incentive to practice.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sometimes following a different path home after work is it&#8217;s own reward.
