I’ve got a strange hunch that today is going to be kind of laid back here at work. It’s the day before Thanksgiving break and the place looks fairly deserted. On the other hand, it’s possible that we’ll be getting a slew of last-minute things in from people who have just now realized that it’s the day before Thanksgiving break and they need something for a talk they’re giving on Monday morning.

\nI’m hoping for the low-stress option. I’m coming off the tail end of another damned cold and I could use the relaxation time.<\/p>\n
I know, I know… It seems like half my posts are about being ill, but I know exactly how I got this particular bug, and it was unavoidable. We’ve got a new guy in the office and I spent most of last week working with him in the old office, packing the last of the stuff up and shipping it out. New guy arrived pre-infected with a cold\/flu thing that his three year old picked up at her day-care center. This was quickly passed on to the two folks at the office who don’t have regular exposure to child-borne viruses.<\/p>\n
