Taking Thursday off and heading back to work on Friday.  What the blistering <b>heck<\/b> was I thinking?  Having one day off near the end of the week is almost the polar opposite of having a three day weekend.  You can&#8217;t truly relax and enjoy yourself because you know you&#8217;ve got to get up and go back to work the next day.<br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\nOn the other hand, I&#8217;m kind of glad that I didn&#8217;t decide to put off my vacation day until tomorrow.  The front office got rearranged a bit on Thursday, so it felt very strange walking in this morning.  Kind of like I&#8217;d gone into the wrong room, except that I recognized some of my stuff.  My Wife described it as anti-Deja Voux, since it&#8217;s the feeling that you&#8217;ve never been someplace that you are all the time.<\/p>\n<p>If that had happened on a Monday, I don&#8217;t know if my system could have handled the shock&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>So.
