Having one day off near the end of the week is almost the polar opposite of having a three day weekend. You can’t truly relax and enjoy yourself because you know you’ve got to get up and go back to work the next day.

\nOn the other hand, I’m kind of glad that I didn’t decide to put off my vacation day until tomorrow. The front office got rearranged a bit on Thursday, so it felt very strange walking in this morning. Kind of like I’d gone into the wrong room, except that I recognized some of my stuff. My Wife described it as anti-Deja Voux, since it’s the feeling that you’ve never been someplace that you are all the time.<\/p>\n
