\nMostly, the oddness has to do with the relative age differential between myself and the other site users. I’m a grizzled old geek in my 30’s and they’re mostly pre 20’s freshlings and sophomoria. I think I scare some of them.<\/p>\n
Of course, I’m here because of work. I just got done shooting a batch of photos at a banquet for Anesthesiologists and Sleep researchers and now I’m waiting for my lovely wife to come pick me up.<\/p>\n
The banquet lecture was really quite cool, touching on a bunch of different topics about how sleep (and lack of sleep) affect the mind and body. Apparently, if you’re getting less than 8 hours of sleep a night, your ability to perform tasks starts to suffer.
