It&#8217;s also, for those of you who&#8217;ve somehow missed it, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.talklikeapirate.com\/\">Talk Like A Pirate Day<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>I somehow doubt those two things will combine in an interesting fashion, but I can always hope.  Especially since several of the educational lectures are being videotaped.<br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\n&#8220;Arrr mateys!  This here be the symposia on extra-corporeal membrane oxygenation fer surgical life support.  What ye landlubbers in the back rows may&#8217;t call &#8216;ECMO&#8217; for short.
