A flying rock took a chip out of the bug windshield last night. We were heading over to Rob’s place for an evening of debauchery in the form of Outback take-away, The Brothers Grimm<\/a> and Carcassonne when some yahoo zipped from the far left lane over to the exit ramp and kicked up a chunk of gravel. It was kind of odd, in a slow-motion sort of way. I could see it lift up off the road, arc up into the air, and hurl directly at my head. There was a loud pop as it hit, and now there’s a crazy little star of broken glass right in the middle of my line of sight.
