Farewell MoveableType. I think. I haven’t been writing a lot lately, and part of the reason is that I’ve been getting increasingly frustrated with Movable Type. Every time I check the server logs there are literally hundreds<\/b> of hits a day on the trackback and comment cgi scripts. All of them spam. It got so bad that after a couple of months I just flat out disabled commenting. And started looking for a different hosting system.

\nSo, I’ve set up a parallel system. A WordPress installation. And I’m going to see how easy it is to transition from comfy, old, spam-ridden MT to a shiny new database driven and comment enabled WP.<\/p>\n
Things should be up and running in the next few days… Hopefully, all you’ll notice are a few changes in style.<\/p>\n
