My blinker was acting like a perfect metronome for &#8220;The Girl You Want&#8221; by Devo.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>I tend to notice when things start to happen in synch.  Then again, if you&#8217;re stopped at a light and a bunch of cars in front of you have their turn signals flashing in harmony it&#8217;s kind of hard not to notice.  Mostly though, lights and blinkers will sort of drift in and out of synch.  But not this morning.  I sat through the whole red light and the music didn&#8217;t deviate at all from the clicking of the blinker.  I was sorely tempted to test the Devo Unvarying Metronome Blinker Effect (Hm&#8230; Maybe I should find a different acronym&#8230;) by leaving my turn signal on for the rest of the song, but I decided not to piss off the other drivers.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Had an odd thing happen while driving today.
