According to John McCain, it&#8217;s bad to be a celebrity, right?<br \/>\nSo, why was he not using this tactic when he was trying to win his party&#8217;s nomination over <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm0000669\/\" target=\"_blank\">a former senator turned actor<\/a>?<br \/>\nAlso, doesn&#8217;t this sort of fly in the face of his party&#8217;s worship of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm0001654\/\" target=\"_blank\">a former B-grade Western cowboy<\/a>?<br \/>\nPerhaps this is a new rule.  In which case, I&#8217;m sure he&#8217;ll be very careful to not repeat mistakes like <a href=\"http:\/\/www.slashfilm.com\/2008\/08\/02\/trivia-john-mccain-was-in-wedding-crashers\/\" target=\"_blank\">making a cameo appearance<\/a> in the movie <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt0396269\/\" target=\"_blank\">Wedding Crashers<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I usually steer clear of politics here, but I just want to check on something.
