It changes <b>everything<\/b>.<br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\nWell, maybe not <i>every<\/i>thing &#8211; Harry is still a smartass who doesn&#8217;t know when to keep his mouth shut.  He&#8217;s still got a fun blend of cynicism and idealism prodding him to try to change the world for the better, even though he knows no one will appreciate it.  And he&#8217;s still in a whole lot of trouble.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m not going to post any spoilers here, so it&#8217;s going to be a short review.  There&#8217;s one thing which was sort of poking at my mind as I was reading it, which means I&#8217;m going to have to re-read the book to see if I&#8217;m imagining it, or if it&#8217;s really there: there&#8217;s a sort of Tarot card feeling to some of the scenes; parts of it seem to reflect the traditional images on the cards &#8211; starting with the burning, falling Tower, which is never a good sign.<\/p>\n<p>Pages: 448<\/p>\n<p>Total pages: 9116<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The latest novel in the Harry Dresden series, &#8220;Changes&#8221; does exactly what it says on the cover.
