I remember it as though it were a meal ago…

Do you folks recall the “Veggie Booty” snack we served at the Smithee awards?

Well, the company that makes it certainly recalls it…

LISt Processing

Today’s new comic is slightly late. Sorry about that.

What color is your spaceship?

You scored as Moya (Farscape), You are surrounded by muppets. But that is okay because they are your friends and have shown many times that they can be trusted. Now if only you could stop being bothered about wormholes.

I want to build a home stereo system that uses tuned Tesla coils instead of speakers…

Man’s Best Friend

Today’s comic preys on yet another precious childhood memory. And it plays with its food before killing it.

Wren

Wren from party

Yet another photo from last Sunday. There was a family of wrens in a little birdhouse just near the table. The elder birds were kind of upset at us for parking ourselves so close to the nestlings, but they got down to the business of flying in and out with tasty bugs for them once we shifted ourselves over by a dozen or so feet. This particular bird found a perfect place to keep an eye on us – nicely framed by twigs and leaves.

Proto-Raspberries

Protoraspberries

Just a picture post today. This shot of green raspberries is from the Father’s Day Cookout & Hanger Party last Sunday.

Dead Tree Edition

Remember that weekly webcomic I mention every so often? Well, the folks over at the publishing arm of the People’s Glorious Revolutionary Shameless Commerce and Unbridled Capitalism Department (aka “Me”) have given the thumbs up for the public release of the printed Year One Collection of Quirk’s Evil Little Webcomic.

It’s a touch pricey – $14 plus shipping etc. for a 52 page comic book – but it looks very good. A lot of the comics really shine with high resolution art, and I’m quite pleased with the quality of the print and the paper.

Revving back up

Ok, it looks like it’s time for me to get serious about writing again. Weeks have gone by with nary a peep from my… fingers? Hm. Odd way of putting it, but then again this is typing and not speaking.

So. My non-peeping fingers have been lax in updating here. Lots of reasons why too, and I’ll try to go into them over the course of the week. Right now though, I’m going to go in search of coffee.

Misheard Lyric Comic

This week’s Comic will ruin a song for you, possibly forever.
