When he gets all steamed up, hear him shout: “Tip me over and pour me out!”

A little bit of George and Ira Gershwin for you all. These are from the musical comedy “Oh, Kay!” There’s some static and record noise still in these files – I didn’t want to do too much noise reduction since that can introduce a bit of distortion.

Victor 70061 from 1911.

A romantic little comic song in a Scotch dialect. This is one of the older, single sided Victor records. The audio on this has got some noise reduction artifacts, and sometimes the vocals are a bit tough to make out, but it’s not too bad.

Reality is a crutch

Doing some shopping nn the way home from work we ran across these hideous toys. Somehow they manage to be worse than the ones from my dream, and without using any live bees.

Four letter word, starts with an “S”

Last Friday’s comic necessitated the purchase of a prop – an actual can of actual Spam™ to be chopped up into little cubes and fed through an hourglass. I asked my Wife to get it while she was out shopping with a friend of ours. My Wife couldn’t find it in the store, so Friend decided to ask an employee. And now I have a little comic scene stuck in my head.

“I’m trying to find the… You know. The Spam™.”

“It’s not for me. It’s for a friend.”

“He’s not going to eat it or anything, it’s for a webcomic.”

I’m not deaf

I just don’t always hear the same thing everyone else does. This week’s comic isn’t my fault though – blame my wife for this one.

Who’s got the button?

I’ve got a hunch that at least part of this week’s comic has happened in real life.

Newly mobile

Running a bit of a test here. I’ve got a new gizmo that may make posting a bit easier / more frequent.
