Playing a bit with Comic Life. It’s almost too easy to make an online strip with this… I’m gonna play with the 30 day free demo for a while, but I won’t be at all surprised if I wind up sending in the $25 registration fee.

And yes, the comic is in .PNG format. It’s not that I hate Internet Explorer, I just hate that it can’t display the transparency correctly.

Exoskeleton

The Ann Arbor branch of the pro-bicycle protest group Critical Mass hit the streets last Friday. I guess it’s a regular thing they do on the last Friday of every month. Anyway, I saw ’em after work. They were grouping up for their ride, I was waiting for my Wife so that we could carpool home. Honestly, I wasn’t all that impressed with them.

Hovering information

There’s this theory of website organization that I half-jokingly call the “Mayan Pyramid Scheme.” The basic idea is that the broadest, most general information is the base of the pyramid. Stacked on top of that is a narrower step of information, followed by something more specific, and so on until you reach a nice tiny chunk of extremely specific info telling you exactly what you want.
