We saw a bunny!

ABunny.jpg
Here’s a bunny that my wife spotted on the way in to work this morning. You’d think that a traffic island wouldn’t be the best environment for a small furry creature, but it seems to be thriving…

OmniGraffle

I’ve been testing some really cool software at work. It’s got a sort of goofy name… “OmniGraffle“… but it’s really quite remarkable.

It’s a really fast charting program with some stupendous built-in alignment tools. We’re probably going to be using it to plot out web site structures for clients, but it’s got all sorts of graphical goodness…

Whoops!

Did a doublecheck on my poster print / football field calculations from last time and it looks like I left the end zones off… Without the end zones, we’ve now printed enough posters to cover 1.2 football fields. With the end zones, we’ve got four more rolls of paper to go.

We’ve also used six 2 liter bottles of ink.

Late Lately

I seem to have hit a rhythm of posting in the evenings for the past few days. Anyway.

I’ve got some label art for ’em too, so all I have to do is actually print up the labels and slap them on and there’ll be wine aplenty for drinking and gifts…

Hot and muggy

Summer has, I think, finally arrived. It’s been in the 80’s in the afternoons around here, and muggy in the fun Southeast Michigan “air like a wet washcloth” fashion. I’m really tempted to wash my car, just to cool off a bit.

Craptracking

Just a couple tools and links for people who are having problems with creeps in their comments. I got the idea from Wil Wheaton over at wilwheaton.net (yes, that Wil Wheaton). He’s been having some problems with creeps posting crap in his comments… It’s gotten bad enough that he’s offered a $1000 bounty, and I figured I’d share some of the tools I use here.

Crab Apple Buds

Yes, more images for a while. This one is a bit nostalgic. It’s from last week when it wasn’t two degrees above freezing outside.
