Hm… Everquest or Meathooks?

Ok, so one of the folks in the office made the old “EverQuest = EverCrack” joke, talking about how addictive online games are. Well, that may be, but it beats the current popular activity torn from today’s headlines: “Meat hook dangling craze mystifies police.”

Now I know there are parents who don’t want their kids playing computer games all summer, but given this as an alternative? I’d bet they’d open their wallets in a heartbeat for a decent PC, Lost Dungeons of Norrath, and a subscription. It certainly seems like a healthier pastime than hanging around on the beach all day.

Skagway Shoreline


Next to the dock in Skagway is a huge cliff face that has been painted with hundreds of flags and signs from the ships that have visited over the years. I took a couple dozen photos of the cliff from our cabin balcony. This weekend I assembled them into a big composite photo. The little banner at the top is a link to a ~600k jpg image. The full sized TIFF file weighs in at just over 250 MB. I’m trying to decide if I should do a poster sized print of it…
