Waves in the Sky

Around twilight, huge flocks of birds start to land in the trees around campus.

There are so many of them they turn the sky black at times. Naturally, they turn other things black too… But when they’re moving they look like schools of fish in the sky.

I tried shooting a short movie of them, but it was so grainy and jerky it looked like what you’d get if the Audubon Society had done the Zapruder film…
