Another Weekend of Wonder

Ok, enough of the technical crap, back to the blather.

I’ve got to remember to charge up the batteries in the camera before I leave work tonight. We’re going to a Kart racing party with my Fiancee’s brother in law and a passel of his cronies.

I don’t know if they’re cronies or not. I just like the sound of it.. “Passel of Cronies.” It’s like a pack of wolves, a pride of lions, a murder of crows, a gaggle of geese or a congestion of lobbyists.

Sorry about that. I’m kind of scatterbrained right now. The server transfer seems to have worked, but *nix requires caffiene and I’m hopped up on mocha.

Anyway, if all goes well I could have a batch of racing pictures to add to things on Saturday. Chris (the future Bro-in-law-in-law) is a part-time auto racer and I shot a ton of photos out at the track last fall. It was a blast… especially watching the tiny little cars that were whipping around the hairpin turn on three wheels.

Heh. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, so this should be a small novella at least.

Anyway, that’s the fun for tonight.. There are other weekend plans, but I’ll have to post them later… I’ve got a lunch date with my Fiancee and I don’t want to be late.
