The bane of groundskeepers, the dandilion! Or is it dandylion? Dandillion?
I know that last one isn’t right. Looking at it all typed out it seems like it should be pronounced “dan-DILL-yun” as if it were a disturbingly high numerical value, something Carl Sagan would say…
Anyway, I’m sure it starts out ‘d-a-n-d’ so I suppose I could look it up, but it just doesn’t matter that much… It’s a quick snapshot of a bit of lawn fluff that I noticed while waiting for a ride home last night. I’ll just add it to my collection of pictures of flowers.
