And I’m not talking about the Leonard Nimoy movie. I’m getting ready to poke a sharp stick into the server and start wiggling… My Fiancee’s blog has vanished in a strange way.
The main issue was a corrupt database… I was able to recover a good version from the backup tapes and export the text, so if all else fails I should be able to do a total rebuild of the site.
But I don’t want to.
The patched database should solve the problem… Rebuilding the site should show all the files. But it doesn’t! I feel like the pirate with the ship’s wheel sticking out of his pants…
