So I’ve probably just ruined the day of a couple dozen angsty teens.
Let me explain.
I was going through the server logs and noticed a whole bunch of bandwidth was being used by one of my old images. It seems a lot of people were linking to it directly, using it as a background for their own web pages.
So I changed things a bit…
The old image has been renamed, and the old article on my site has been updated to link to it. I’m sure it’s just a matter of time until it gets found again, and linked to, and I don’t have a problem with that, normally. I don’t mind people using my images, so long as I get credited. Thus the whole Creative Commons License over on the left-side navigation bar.
