RHAIR Bears

Just a logo that I did for work:
RHAIR Bear Logo

If you were looking for their website and got here instead, just click on the logo…

Also note that the RHAIR Bear has absolutely nothing to do with the Hair Bear Bunch.

Indy News

I’ve been disappointed with a lot of the major news neworks lately. I could go off an a rant about corporate control of news networks, the myth of the liberal media and all that jazz, but I think it’d be more useful to just post links to some alternate news sources.

Bubba-Ho-Tep

I mentioned earlier that that on Saturday night we were driving up to the East Lansing Film Festival. We got there a little late to catch the beginning of “Gigantic” but we were in plenty of time for “Bubba-Ho-Tep.”

And a good thing too. It was packed. The film was showing in the ‘Hitchcock’ theater, which was basically a lecture hall with a projection booth. One of the festival organizers started the show off by heading down to the front, picking up a microphone and saying:

Iraq isn’t in Ireland

Links!

Ok, I’m even more geeky than I ought to be. Not half an hour after getting Lynx up and running, I found another text based browser that I like better. It’s called Links.

Lynx!

This is really geeky-cool. I’ve got a text-only web browser up and running on the laptop.

And yes, I have a good reason. It’s for when I’ve got a slow dial-up connection and I need to check on things.

Random Thoughts about Meeting Food

Not in the sense of “Hi food, how’ve you been?” More along the lines of food left over after a staff meeting.
