Our office sometimes needs fast turnaround / short run printing done. We usually go to one of the local Kinkos for that. One of the clerks we work with a lot is a guy named Peter. His mom wrote a book that is being turned into a movie…
The book is being made into a movie, and he gave my boss a copy of the trailer on CD. It’s pretty huge (about 100 MB) so I’m not going to post it here. The movie is about a wealthy old woman who leaves her fortune to the village she grew up in so that they can tour India and see their own country. The scenes from the trailer are beautiful, and the movie is being made by whatever the Indian equivalent is to the Canadian National Film Board. Actually, it might be more accurate to say that it WAS being made. Filming has stopped due to the unrest in Kashmir.
It’s a real pity too, ’cause after seeing just the trailer, I’m hooked. I want to see this movie, and it’s not even the kind of film that I’d normally watch.
