Good grief! I haven’t been this badly sunburnt since… Well, I don’t have an exact date or anything, but it’s been a very long time. Pre-high school somewhere. What’s really eerie is how sensitive the burnt skin is. It’s like I can feel individual threads in my shirtsleeves as they brush the back of my arm.
My fiancee got it worse though… She actually had some blisters on her ears from the sunburn she got while hanging around and reading… Even though I was wandering around in the sun more, I think my big floppy hat protected me from the worst of it.
And I got some good shots, so it’s worth a bit of discomfort…
I’m transferring the pictures to my computer from the camera right now. It looks like I shot close to three hundred pictures, which is kinda cool. Especially since I don’t have to pay for film or processing… Without a digital camera, I could have spent around a hundred and fifty bucks on that just this weekend.
Well, it’s time to get some work done… I’ll go through the photos at lunchtime and there may be a few pictures posted later today.
