Far too much fun.

A fan of the web comic Achewood has created a web site dedicated to the Great Outdoor Fight. What’s really keen is that he’s set it up as a Wiki, and is allowing reader contributions. I’ve already added histories for a couple of fighters… It’s a fun writing exercise to play in someone else’s sandbox like this.

Darn fine show!

Caught the Ann Arbor Film Fest earlier tonight with my Wife and one of her college buds. Really good selection of films in this batch: nothing too migraine inducing, and even those that were kind of strangely experimental were still quite good.

Fried up stir

Cooked up stir-fry tonight with some wonderful sweet Yakatori soy sauce that my folks got us for Christmas. It was part of a collection of Japanese stuff they got at an auction. It’s really, really tasty.. And unfortunately it’s not going to be easy to get any more of it.

Do you remember the 7up guy? Big Jamaican guy, dressed in white. He’d go on about how 7up was “Crisp and clean, with no caffeine.” And how it “Never had it, never will!”

That was because of the zombies, of course.

Phat Pantsday

Another early morning run today. Zipping by the hospital in the pre-dawn hours and then off to the office with a quick stop for coffee and breakfast before work. We hit Beaners on Liberty again. Quite tasty coffee, good scones (My Wife thinks they’re kind of dry, but I think they’re fine with coffee) and a great view of the deserted early morning streets.

A cold day in.. Oo! Salmon!

Did another sub-freezing cookout tonight! Our second bit of salmon from the Pacific Northwest, courtesy of Badmovie and Lunar Geography’s cats.

Well, more courtesy of the two humans, but the cats should get some credit. If it wasn’t for us taking care of them, we would never have been gifted with the tasty, tasty fish.
